Kanpur Blast: Khalistan Zindabad Force Claims Attack, Police Investigate Email Source

The Meston Road blast case has taken a dramatic turn after an email claiming responsibility surfaced on Thursday. The message, sent to several media outlets, alleged that the Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) carried out the Mishri Bazaar blast in Kanpur.

The email stated that the explosion was “an extension of our sabotage activities to avenge the deaths of our three beloved Singhs in Uttar Pradesh, who were brutally murdered by Aditya Nath's police.” It further mentioned that the act was carried out under the leadership of Jathedar Ranjit Singh Jammu, adding, “We will continue to surprise the Indian government.”

The message concluded with the words: “Khalistan Zindabad, Fateh Singh Baggi, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Unit, Khalistan Zindabad Force, October 9, 2025.” It also claimed that the individuals involved in the attack had “reached their destination safely.”

Joint Police Commissioner (Law and Order) Ashutosh Kumar confirmed that the email has been taken into account and an investigation is underway to trace its origin and verify the authenticity of the claims.
