Another student who was injured in the shooting at the BIMTECH college hostel in Greater Noida has also died. The student, named Devansh Chauhan, was being treated at Kailash Hospital, where he passed away on Wednesday morning. Before this, doctors had performed surgery late into Tuesday night to remove a bullet from his head.

Before this, a student named Deepak Kumar, had already died in the same incident on Tuesday. Now, with the death of both students, it has become a mystery as to who did the shooting and why.

It's important to know that BIMTECH college rents the RCI Vidya Vihar Hostel, which is located outside the main campus. This is where Deepak, from Andhra Pradesh, and Devansh, from Agra, were living while they studied.

According to the sequence of events, both students were found injured inside a hostel room at around 11 am on Tuesday. The door to the room was locked from the inside. They were immediately taken to Kailash Hospital, where doctors declared Deepak Kumar dead. Devansh's condition was critical, so he was placed on a ventilator in the ICU. The head of the Knowledge Park police station, Sarvesh Chandra, has confirmed Devansh's death.

The police investigation has revealed that both students were very close friends and spent most of their time together. They lived in separate rooms in the hostel, and the incident happened in Deepak's room. The investigation also found that Devansh had just returned to the hostel from Agra on Tuesday, and the shooting occurred a short while later. Police suspect that the incident may have been the result of a personal dispute.
