Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway: The vehicles traveling between Kanpur and Lucknow will soon be able to travel between these cities in 40 to 45 minutes as there will not be a single toll plaza in the middle of the expressway.
Usually, the travel time on the fastest of expressways increases due to toll queues in between journeys. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has not built any toll plaza on the expressway, which is nearing its completion.
Where will the toll fee be collected?
The toll collection on the expressway will be done at the beginning of the journey from both sides. From Lucknow, the first toll will be at Miranpur Pinwat and from Kanpur it will be Azad Nagar.

There will be entry and exit points on the expressway from these tolls. In Lucknow, the travellers will get access to the expressway from Sarojininagar and an intersection near Bani.
The travellers can get on the expressway at only five places, and tolls will only be taken there. The authority is building the second toll at Khandedev. Similarly, the third toll has been built near Bani, and the fourth toll has been built near Amarsas village near Unnao-Lalganj. After the toll money is deducted here, vehicles will be able to speed on the expressway.
