Lucknow News: LDA Extends Flat Discount Offer Till Nov 17 After 974 Bookings During Festive Season | Details

Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) flats continue to draw strong buyer interest, emerging as a top preference for home seekers in the state capital. During Dhanteras and Diwali, buyers booked 974 flats across various LDA schemes, prompting the extension of the ongoing festive discount offer.

LDA Vice-Chairman Prathmesh Kumar announced that the special discount period, initially valid till November 6, has now been extended by 11 days, making the offer available till November 17. Under the scheme, buyers can avail a discount ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh on flat purchases. All previously announced discounts and benefits will also remain applicable. Flats are being allotted on a “first come, first served” basis.

The festive offer, launched during Navratri on September 22, included:

-Rs 1 lakh discount on flats priced between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 50 lakh

-Rs 1.5 lakh discount on flats priced between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 75 lakh

-Rs 2 lakh discount on flats priced above Rs 75 lakh

The attractive pricing resulted in 974 bookings within just 45 days, leading to the extended deadline to accommodate increasing buyer demand.

Additional Benefits for Buyers

A further discount of 3-6 per cent will be offered to buyers who pay the full flat cost within 45-90 days. Under a hire purchase arrangement, possession will be granted after paying 25 per cent of the cost for government employees, and 35 per cent for general category applicants. Buyers are allowed to purchase multiple units, except in Sulabh Awas and EWS categories.

According to Officer on Special Duty Devansh Trivedi, 1BHK to 3BHK flats measuring 500-1,900 sq ft are available across several LDA housing schemes, with prices ranging from Rs 22 lakh to Rs 1.08 crore.
