Lucknow Traffic Advisory: In anticipation of heavy traffic congestion on Dhanteras, Diwali, and Bhai Dooj, the Lucknow Traffic Police have issued a detailed advisory, warning of traffic restrictions and diversions across the city. The traffic arrangements will be in place from October 18th to 23rd to ensure smooth traffic movement.

 Only emergency vehicles such as ambulances, fire service vehicles, school buses, and hearses will be permitted during the restricted period.

Lucknow Traffic Advisory: Check Restrictions And Diversions

- Three-wheeler vehicles coming from Haiderganj/Saadatganj will not be allowed to proceed towards Aminabad via Nakkhas Tiraha, Nadan Mahal Road, Yahiyaganj, Rakabganj, and Pul, Jagran.com reported.

- A ban will be in place for turning right from Bhootnath Tiraha towards Bhootnath Market via Polytechnic Square.

- Traffic movement from Kaleva Square and Garden Bakery Square towards Bhootnath Market will be restricted.

- At Manoj Pandey Square, left turns towards Patrakarpuram will be prohibited.

- From Husadiya Square, left turns towards Patrakarpuram Square will also be restricted.

- Vehicles via Shahnajaf Road, from Saharaganj turn, turning left towards Dunlop intersection, via Bank of India towards Alka intersection, will also face restrictions.

- Vehicles coming from Parivartan Chowk will not be allowed to proceed towards Hazratganj.

Lucknow Traffic Advisory: Check Alternate Routes

- Vehicles from Nakkhas Tiraha can proceed via Medical Cross, Medical College Square, and Shahmina Tiraha.

- Vehicles from Bhootnath Tiraha can go straight from Lekhraj Market Square and turn right from Nilgiri Square.

- Vehicles in front of Garden Bakery can turn left from Nilgiri Square and left again from Lekhraj Market Square.

- Vehicles from Dayal Paradise Square will be diverted via Husadiya Square.

- Vehicles from Husadiya Square can continue straight via Dayal Paradise Square.

- Vehicles from Bank of India Tiraha can turn right from Dunlop Tiraha towards Sahara Mall.

- Vehicles from Dunlop Tiraha can turn left via Bank of India to Hazratganj or right via Sahara Mall to Shahnajaf Road.

- Vehicles from the Saharaganj turn can continue straight via Chiraiyajheel.

- Vehicles from KD Singh Babu Stadium Tiraha will be diverted via Chiraiyajheel to Sikandarbagh.

Lucknow Parking Arrangements For Diwali

- Vehicles coming from Parivartan Chowk towards Hazratganj market will be directed to turn left at Hindi Sansthan and park in the underground parking facility at Sarojini Naidu Park.

- Shoppers heading to Hazratganj market can also park their vehicles at the rear entrance of the multi-story parking lot on Leela Cinema Road and exit on foot through the front gate on the Motimahal side.
