A major traffic change is set to be implemented on the Delhi-Dehradun Highway (Old NH-58) opposite the Daurala Nagar Panchayat office. Vehicles coming from Muzaffarnagar towards Modipuram will now be diverted via a semi-circular overbridge as part of a new interchange being constructed to link the Delhi-Dehradun Highway with the Meerut-Najibabad Highway.
As part of the construction, one side of the highway will be temporarily closed for approximately 300 metres. The semi-circular overbridge will allow vehicles from different directions to merge and move smoothly between the two highways, without affecting vehicles travelling from Modipuram towards Muzaffarnagar.
How Traffic Will Be Rerouted
-Vehicles from Muzaffarnagar to Modipuram will take a slight left onto the semi-circular overbridge before rejoining the highway.
-Vehicles from Muzaffarnagar heading to Mawana Road (Meerut-Najibabad Highway) will turn left to access the connector ramp.
-Vehicles from the Meerut-Najibabad Highway towards Modipuram-Siwaya will use the left ramp to merge onto the Delhi-Dehradun Highway.
-Vehicles from Modipuram to the Meerut-Najibabad Highway will bear slightly right, ascend the overbridge, descend, and take a loop-like left turn to reach the connector.
