Videos of dangerous stunts performed using Thars and other sports cars have regularly surfaced on social media. These stunts are not only a threat to the lives of those who are driving these vehicles, but also to those who are on the roads. Growing concern has prompted many users to report such content on Instagram, using the platform to highlight the risks and call for action.

Despite efforts by Noida Police to curb the trend through heavy fines, videos of dangerous stunts continue to go viral, often gaining widespread attention across the state and country within hours. When these clips reach senior officials, local police across various zones, circles, stations, and outposts are compelled to shift focus from more critical duties and investigations. These incidents often become a significant distraction for law enforcement.

DCP Traffic Dr Praveen Ranjan Singh said, “Action will be taken against stunt performers not only by issuing challans but also by filing cases. Vehicles performing stunts will be confiscated.”
