A fire broke out in a high-rise apartment in Noida's Sector 107 on Tuesday afternoon, destroying property worth lakhs of rupees. No casualties were reported in the incident.

The blaze started around 2:45 pm in flat number 201 of tower 11 at the SunworldVanalika society. Residents who spotted smoke and flames immediately alerted the society's maintenance team and the fire department.

Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar Choubey stated that the initial report suggested a fire in three or four flats, prompting the dispatch of six fire engines. "Upon arrival, our team found the fire was confined to a single flat, number 201," he said. The society's maintenance team was already engaged in dousing the flames when the fire brigade arrived.
