Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran on Wednesday in a courtesy call at his official residence. The meeting focused on expanding investment opportunities in the state, with the Tata Group expressing strong interest in deepening its collaboration with the UP government.

Chairman Chandrasekaran assured the Chief Minister of the Tata Group’s full cooperation in transforming Uttar Pradesh into a key investment hub. Discussions were held on the potential establishment of an Air India MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) facility in the state, which is expected to significantly boost the aviation service sector.

The two leaders also discussed the proposed "Temple Architecture Museum" project in Ayodhya, aimed at enhancing the state’s cultural and tourism appeal. Additionally, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath briefed the Tata Sons Chairman on the progress of the Jewar International Airport project, highlighting its role in advancing regional connectivity and economic growth.

Commending the Tata Group’s ongoing investments in the state, the Chief Minister reiterated the government's commitment to providing an industry-friendly environment. He also encouraged the Tata Group to further expand its footprint in Uttar Pradesh by establishing a Global Captive Center in Lucknow, a move expected to generate high-tech and skill-based employment opportunities.

Chairman Chandrasekaran praised the UP government’s infrastructure push and investor-friendly policies, stating that the state will play a significant role in the Tata Group’s upcoming ventures.
