Additionally, illegal encroachments on government land within a 10-kilometer radius of the Nepal border were cleared. Specific demolitions included illegal madrasas in Semrahni village (Farenda tehsil) and Jugauli village (Nautanwa) of Maharajganj, as well as a madrasa on government land in Kalimpurwa Rampur Jabdi (Bhinga tehsil) of Shravasti. In Bahraich, a mausoleum built on encroached forest land was removed.
This campaign reflects the state government's firm stance on ensuring legal compliance and preventing unlawful occupation near the sensitive Nepal border areas.
