The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday ordered the transfer of four senior IPS officers, aiming to strengthen administration and policing across key departments.

Raghubir Lal (IPS-RR-1997) has been moved from Additional Director General of Police, Security, UP, Lucknow, to take charge as Commissioner of Police, Kanpur Nagar Police Commissionerate.

Divesh Juneja (IPS-RR-1992), currently Director General of Police, Prosecution, UP, Lucknow, has been given additional responsibility as Director General of Police, COID, UP, Lucknow.

Vinod Kumar Singh (IPS-RR-1994) has been transferred from Director General of Police, Cyber Crime, UP, Lucknow, to Director General of Police, COID, UP, Lucknow, while retaining additional charge of DG, Cyber Crime.

Tarun Gaba (IPS-RR-2001) has been moved from Inspector General of Police, Lucknow Range, to Inspector General of Police, Security, UP, Lucknow, with additional charge of IG, Lucknow Range.

These transfers reflect the state government’s ongoing efforts to ensure effective policing and administrative efficiency across law enforcement departments.
