UP Crime News: In a tragic incident, a man in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur was reportedly killed with an axe by his own brother and sister-in-law over a dispute on throwing garbage. The issue commenced on Tuesday when the daughter of the younger brother threw garbage in front of the house of victim. Virendra, the victim, raised objection and got involved in a heated argument with his brother, leading to the escalation. Sunil, the accused, and his wife attacked the victim with an axe and stick, causing serious injuries, reported NDTV.
Victim was admitted to a local nursing home after being severely injured, and was later referred to a Meerut hospital where he died. Chanchal, victim's wife has filed a case against both the accused; however, the couple is on the run currently. Superintendent of Police (Hapur) Vineet Bhatnagar, while providing details, stated that the police were not informed regarding the incident even when the victim was referred to Meerut. However, he assured that immediate actions will be taken into the matter.

"We will take immediate action," Bhatnagar was quoted as saying by NDTV. In a separate news, a woman was found dead by hanging in Buddhi Vihar Colony, Chinhat, on Tuesday morning, while her husband was discovered unconscious nearby. According to Chinhat Inspector Dinesh Chandra Mishra, the woman's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, and her husband is currently receiving medical treatment.
The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Najma, originally from Tanda village in Akbarpur. Her husband, Shamim, is a resident of Mohammadpur Khala in Barabanki. The couple had been living in Buddhi Vihar for the past year, where Shamim worked as a tailor in the Vibhutikhand area. They were married approximately eight months ago. The inspector stated that the couple had been involved in a dispute for the past three days. The family has been informed and called in for questioning.
