The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued clarifications to address queries raised by candidates regarding the ongoing sub-inspector recruitment process.

The board has specified that female candidates seeking reservation benefits must submit caste certificates issued from the father’s side. Such certificates must be uploaded on the official website, as the caste of female candidates is determined on the basis of the father’s caste.

Regarding discrepancies in academic documents, the board clarified that if mark sheets and certificates for Class 10 and Class 12 are issued separately, both documents must be uploaded. However, if both details are included in a single document, then the same file must be uploaded in both sections of the application.

On the issue of graduation documents, the board stated that uploading the graduation mark sheet is mandatory. In cases where the degree certificate is not available, candidates may upload a provisional degree. However, the original graduation degree must be produced during the record verification and physical standard test.
