The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has initiated the process for filling 4,534 Sub-Inspector positions after declaring the final results for the recruitment of 60,244 Civil Police Constables.
The Board has begun the process of selecting an agency to conduct the examination and other related procedures. The notification for the Sub-Inspector recruitment is expected to be released by the end of this month.
The vacancies include 4,242 positions for Sub-Inspector Civil Police, 106 positions for Sub-Inspector Civil Police (Women) (PAC) in Badaun, Gorakhpur, and Lucknow, 135 positions for Platoon Commander/Sub-Inspector Armed Police, and 60 positions for Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander Special Security Force.
Preparations are underway for these recruitments, and it is anticipated that applications from candidates will be invited next month. In addition to this, the recruitment process for Constable and other positions will also commence soon. Recently, the DGP Headquarters sent a requisition to the Board for recruitment to various positions, including Sub-Inspectors.
