A "city of tents" has begun to form in Shukteerth for the Kartik Ganga Snan fair on November 5. To accommodate this, the Ministry of Railways has given devotees the gift of a special train. A special train will run from Delhi to Haridwar, which will provide convenience to the devotees coming for the Kartik Ganga Snan.

Meanwhile, the Railway department has cancelled the Shalimar Express until December 31.

The Kartik Ganga Snan Mela in Muzaffarnagar's Shukteerth holds special significance in Western Uttar Pradesh. Devotees from far-flung areas come to Bhagwat Bhumi to perform worship, puja-paath, and various other religious activities and rituals.

Station Superintendent Pawan Kumar stated that the Ministry of Railways has provided this facility for the devotees for the Ganga Snan Mela festival.

The special train will operate from Delhi to Haridwar on November 4 and 5. This train will depart from Delhi, reach Muzaffarnagar at 12:05 am, and will depart after two minutes. On its return journey from Haridwar to Delhi, it will stop at Muzaffarnagar at 5:45 am, with a two-minute stop before departing.

On the other hand, the Daily Commuters Association has filed a complaint with the railway department. The complaint states that the Shalimar Express has been cancelled until December 31. This has increased the problems for people who commute for work in the mornings and evenings to various districts.
