UP Weather: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for dense fog in around 23 Uttar Pradesh districts. According to the weather body, there is a possibility of light rain in western UP in the coming days, till February 7. IMD has also indicated fluctuations in the weather for the next two days.
As per senior meteorologist M Danish, the effect of change in weather is likely to be seen in western UP on February 3, 4 and 5. Light rain is expected in some areas. There will be no significant effect in Purvanchal. Similarly, there will be fog in the morning in the districts adjoining the Terai region of the state.
The disturbance that begins on February 3, will have a wide impact in the entire state including the capital Lucknow. Due to the effect of this powerful disturbance, there are indications of light to moderate rain between February 3 and 7.

UP Weather: Fog Alert
IMD has issued an alert regarding fog in entire Uttar Pradesh. Road and rail traffic might get affected due to fog. There is an alert of dense fog in many districts including Lucknow, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Banda, Varanasi, Jhansi, Etawah, Auraiya, Mainpuri, Kanpur Dehat, Chitrakoot, Hamirpur, Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, Deoria, Agra, Meerut, Saharanpur, Shamli, Aligarh, Fatehpur and Mahoba.
UP Weather: Coolest And Hottest Areas
According to the information given by Amausi weather center in Lucknow, UP, the lowest temperature in the state was recorded in Ayodhya on Sunday. The minimum temperature here was 9.0 degrees Celsius. The same minimum temperature was recorded in Najibabad. Apart from this, the highest temperature was 30.2 degrees Celsius in Prayagraj.
