UP Weather Update: Many districts of Purvanchal including the capital Lucknow received rain on Monday afternoon, due to which there was relief from humidity. The day-time temperature of Lucknow was recorded 33.6 degree Celsius while the night-time temperature reached 28 degree Celsius. As per the Meteorological Department, there will be light to moderate rain on Tuesday and Wednesday, but the monsoon will gather pace from Thursday, June 26. There is also a possibility of lightning along with thunder in most parts of the state.

Moderate To Heavy Rain For Next 2-3 Days

According to meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Bijnor and Moradabad districts of western Uttar Pradesh for the next two-three days. People in these areas have been advised to remain alert and not go out of the house if not necessarily. There are chances of rain continuing in many districts of eastern UP as well. The Meteorological Department saif that the weather will remain the same in Lucknow for the next four-five days.

Heavy Rain Warning In THESE UP Districts

Heavy rain warning has been issued in many districts of eastern, central and western Uttar Pradesh, including Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Baghpat, Meerut, Aligarh, Kasganj, Etah, Firozabad, Amroha, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur and Badaun. Apart from this, lightning alert has been issued in more than 35 districts including Siddharth Nagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Lucknow, Unnao, Barabanki, Etawah, Mainpuri, Auraiya, Sambhal.
