In a significant step to strengthen the state's industrial infrastructure, the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) has auctioned 50 plots of land. The objective was the move was to develop the potential regions to benefit residents.

Among the plots auctioned, 46 plots were bid for industrial units, three for housing projects, and one for hotel construction. The auction witnessed participation from six women investors, among others.

These plots are located in 12 industrial areas, including Bhogaon in Mainpuri, MG Road in Hapur, Begrajpur in Muzaffarnagar, Trans Ganga City in Unnao, Orai in Jalaun, and Utelwa in Amethi. 

UPSIDA's Chief Executive Officer, Vijay Kiran Anand, said that the government's objective is to promote balanced industrial development in every region of the state.
