The long-standing connectivity gap between Greater Noida and Ghaziabad is set to be addressed as the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) prepares to launch a dedicated mini-bus service between the two cities.

Currently, no direct bus service exists, forcing commuters to rely on private vehicles or other inconvenient options. The new service aims to provide an affordable and reliable travel option for passengers commuting for work, education, and business.

The service, operating from the Greater Noida depot, will feature 44-seater buses covering approximately 318 kilometres daily, with multiple trips scheduled from morning to evening. The fare has been set at just Rs 64, making it an economical choice for daily commuters.

Anil Sharma, ARM of the Greater Noida depot, stated that the service was necessitated by the growing movement of people between the two cities. The buses will be equipped with modern amenities such as air conditioning, GPS tracking, and comfortable seating.
