A new and complex issue has emerged regarding the horrific road accident that occurred in the Baldev police station area on the Yamuna Expressway on December 16. While the bodies of the victims, who were burnt to death in the accident, were identified via DNA mapping and handed over to their families, two additional families have now come forward claiming to have lost their loved ones in the same tragedy.
No Bodies Remain In Morgue
Currently, no bodies remain in the morgue, yet the relatives of two potential victims have submitted DNA samples for identification. The missing individuals have been identified as Parvati, a resident of Noida, and Bholu, a resident of Dholpur.

Probe Initiated
To resolve the confusion arising from new claimants coming forward despite the absence of unidentified bodies, District Magistrate (DM) CP Singh has constituted a five-member inquiry committee. The committee includes Deputy Collector Adesh Kumar, the Senior Prosecution Officer, Circle Officer (CO) Mahavan, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and ARTO (Enforcement) Rajesh Rajput.
19 Dead And 100 Were Injured In Accident
It is worth noting that 19 people lost their lives and over 100 were injured in this massive accident, which saw seven buses and four cars reduced to ashes. DM CP Singh has ordered the committee to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. He has demanded an urgent report explaining the discrepancy between the confirmed death toll and the new claims.
