To ensure the smooth flow of traffic in market areas during Diwali shopping, the entry of vehicles into main markets will be prohibited for five days, starting today. ADG (Crime and Law and Order) V Murugesan issued necessary instructions on Wednesday after reviewing Dehradun's traffic arrangements. Citizens are encouraged to use public transport instead of private vehicles when visiting markets. Designated parking areas have been established for vehicles arriving from all routes.
