The STF's Anti-Narcotics Task Force, in a joint operation with the Nehru Colony police, has taken significant action by arresting two drug traffickers.
The accused have been identified as:
- 35-year-old Abbas, son of Mohammad Ishaq, a resident of Azad Colony.
- 27-year-old Mohammad Savez, son of Shahid, a resident of Bhandari Bagh.
The team apprehended the pair with 123 grams of illegal heroin. The international market value of the seized drug is estimated to be approximately Rs 36 lakh.

Modus Operandi Revealed
SSP STF Navneet Singh Bhullar stated that during police interrogation, both accused confessed to their operation. They admitted to:
- Sourcing the heroin from a man named Zakir, a resident of Bareilly.
- Selling the heroin in small packets to college students and other individuals in Dehradun and its surrounding areas.
