Bengaluru Gen Z Viral Video: A 22-year-old Bengaluru youth has taken the internet by storm and touched a nerve with thousands of young professionals who feel stuck in their careers. In a simple but emotional video, Aanshul Uthaiah openly shared that he was planning to resign from his full-time job the very next day, a Monday. Posting the video on Instagram with the caption "Sunday ramblings," Aanshul said, "I am quitting my job tomorrow and I have no clue what I am going to do."
He also admitted, "I hate what I do for my work and I hate my life situation right now." His honesty quickly struck a chord with viewers who related to his frustration and confusion. He explained that even though he had received admissions from two universities in Australia, he did not want to go because he was tired of studying and felt completely bored with his current job. “I work a full-time job which I don't like at all. I find it very boring. It's just got to my head so much that I really can't do it anymore. I feel like I am wasting my time," he said in the video.
The video crossed 2.4 million views. He revealed that he had started creating content only three months ago and now wanted to give "all his effort into this." In the video, he even said that his parents are unhappy with his sudden career change.

After the video went viral, Aanshul posted another clip the next day, showing a completely different side of the same decision. "It's 7:45 am right now and I have to go to work by 10 am, and I am scared. I don't know what to do. I am having second thoughts right now,” he said honestly. He added, “Right now, my brain is telling me to take some more time and actually decide if I want to quit. But there's also a part of me that says just go for it."
