7 Animals That Are Only Found In Pakistan: China has Pandas, India has Bengal Tigers, Australia has Kangaroos, and the list goes on. Basically, there are certain animals that are native to only one country or to some specific locations. With that said, there are also certain exotic animals that are native to Pakistan and can only be found in South Asia, specifically in Pak. So we thought to take a look at these furry beauties that will require a ticket to Pakistan if one is planning to visit them. 

Here are 7 animals that are only found in Pakistan:

Pakistan Sad Cat 

The first on the list is the adorable Pakistan Sand Cat. This sand cat subspecies is found in Pakistan’s deserts and shares a similar size with domestic cats. 

Snow Leopard 

Next on the list are the Snow Leopards. This is an endangered species and is native to South Asia. The big cat is known for its deadly speed and distinct colour. 

Indus River Dolphin 

The third animal on the list, native to Pakistan, is the Indus River Dolphin. The dolphin is one of the ‘toothed whales’. They are mostly found in the River Beas. 

Chiltan Wild Goat

The next on the list is the Chiltan Wild Goat. They are also known as the Chiltan ibex or Chiltan goat. They are also a subspecies of Markhor. 

Markhor 

Another animal on the list, Markhor, is also a part of the IUCN Red List since 2015. The animal belongs to the ‘Near Threatened’ category. 

Pakistan Gray Goral

Just like the Markhor, the next animal on the list is also on the IUCN Red List as ‘Near Threatened’. The Pakistan Gray Gorals are found in Pakistan.

Sindh ibex 

The last animal that is native to Pakistan, is the Sindh ibex. They are also known as the Turkman wild goats.
