All Eyes On Reasi: Mere a few days back, the entire internet came together as netizens raised their voices against the tragic deaths and violence that took place in South Gaza’s Rafah, by making the outcry ‘All Eyes On Rafah’ trend on social media. From pleas to stop the attacks to the disgust that people felt over the atrocities, sympathisers condemned the violence that took the ‘war-torn’ city over.

Now, taking the same concept to bring a tragic incident from Jammu and Kashmir to light, Indians are taking the internet over with ‘All Eyes On Reasi’ outcry. But what is ‘All Eyes On Reasi’ and why is it trending? Before jumping in on the internet’s reactions, let’s take a brief look at what the trend is all about.

All Eyes On Reasi: Explained-

The trend began when the reports of a tragic bus accident from Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district started to float online. The tragedy was not a regular accident, as it was reportedly the result of a terrorist attack that took place yesterday, June 09. As per the reports, around 10 pilgrims lost their lives after the said bus lost its control due to the attack, and fell into a deep gorge. The bus, filled with pilgrims, was reportedly travelling to Katra from Shiv Khori. It was reportedly near the Teryath village in the Poni area when the terrorist allegedly opened fire at the bus.

As soon as the incident unfolded, the police rushed into action and a rescue mission began. As per the police, 10 were tragically killed, while 33 pilgrims sustained injuries.

The reports of the accident went viral, triggering outrage among people. Many also pointed out the ‘lack of participation’ by people over the matter and compared it with the support that the ‘All Eyes On Rafah’ trend gained over the span of a few days. Some also took it upon themselves to ‘blame’ Bollywood celebrities for ‘staying mum’ on the matter, while they were vocal about the Rafah atrocities.

Taking to social media, people began to react.

“Yes #AllEyesOnReasi. #AllEyesOnReasi,” a user said.

“Have u seen any Indian celebrity crying for Reality? They cry only when they have to run agenda or get paid,” added a second person.
