Amul celebrates Neeraj Chopra’s gold: India’s Golden Boy Neeraj Chopra etched the country’s name in history after becoming the first Indian to bag a gold medal at the World Athletics Championships. The Golden Arm of the sports javelin throw achieved the feat through his remarkable throw of 88.17m during the tournament in Hungary's Budapest on August 27. The athlete attempted four throws, where his second throw was the one that covered the most distance. Soon after the winning throw, social media was flooded with congratulatory posts. Joining the trend, the popular dairy company Amul also paid tribute to the winner and shared a poster of him.

Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem clinched a silver with an 87.82m throw, while Czech Republic’s Jakub Vadlejch won a bronze with an 86.67m throw.
