Michelin-star chef Vikas Khanna won several hearts onboard the Air India flight with a heartwarming gesture. To give a farewell worth remembering, the chef recreated a cake for a retiring crew member of the flight. A video of the chef garnishing a dry cake surfaced online, which melted the hearts of netizens, making the video go viral. Taking to his social media handle, Khanna also shared his experience and extended his wishes to the retiring crew member, Rony, who served the airline for 35 years.

The video was shared on social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the user ‘Sanjay'. The post was captioned, "Heartwarming gesture of love by #Michelin #Masterchef @TheVikasKhanna on board @airindia to redo a special cake for a retiring Crew member Chef Vikas is a Dariya dil, who fed 40 mill during Covid, but this was special."

In the video, the chef was seen decorating a dry cake with some berries. The video went viral and won the hearts of many. Most of the viewers lauded the efforts shown by the Michelin-star chef for the retiring crew member. The post was shared on August 28 and has pulled 10.6K views from the netizens.

The gesture was also addressed by Air India, as the airline's official X handle replied to the post. "Thank you for sharing this heartwarming post!
