Assam Man Milk Bath Viral Video: Getting married is often a big celebration, but now, getting divorced is turning into one too. While society still views separation with some judgment, more and more people are choosing to celebrate their breakups like a fresh beginning. And with rising divorce rates, these 'freedom parties' might soon become as common as weddings. One such unusual celebration recently took place in Assam, where a man didn’t just end his marriage, he made headlines for the dramatic way he marked the moment. The man, identified as Manik Ali from Baraliapar village in Mukalmua, went viral after a video showed him bathing in 40 litres of milk to celebrate his divorce.
Yes, instead of tears, there was milk and a lot of cheers too. According to reports, Ali shared that his wife had an affair and had run away with her lover several times. Still, he tried to save the marriage, especially for their daughter’s sake. But when nothing changed, the two decided to officially separate. And that’s when Ali decided to announce his new chapter in the most unique way. In the video, surrounded by people, he shouted, “From today, I am free,” as milk was poured all over him.

The video was widely shared across social media and sparked lots of reactions. Some found it hilarious, others called it bold. One user wrote, "Kept on eloping? How many times before the husband realised that she is not that much into him? Indian men understand "NO!" that easily, do they?" The "Indian judicial system requires massive reforms as soon as possible. Else the men of this country will take things into their own hands. Population of India will decline & there will be no society for the judiciary to handle," a second user added.
