Karnataka Viral Video: Sometimes, unfortunately, it seems like the ‘vamp bahus’ that we all see in Indian TV dramas are based on real-life people, otherwise how else will you explain a woman accused of beating up her elderly father-in-law with a walking stick? Confused? Well, a disturbing video of a bahu brutally beating up her 87-year-old father-in-law from Karnataka came forward and went viral on social media. As per the reports, the incident took place in Mangaluru, on March 09, whereas the woman in question, Umashankari, was a Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB) official.
The troublesome incident was captured on the CCTV camera that was installed inside the house, the video of which raised the alarm after it was checked by the elderly’s son and Umashankari’s husband, Preetham Suvarna. Reportedly, Suvarna works abroad, meanwhile, the commotion cause was over the placing of a mere shirt. Yes, believe it or not, the KEB official went ‘wild’ on the 87-year-old because he reportedly left his shirt on the sofa.
Rushing into action against the cruel woman, an FIR was registered against her with the Mangaluru Police. As per the reports, the woman has been arrested. As soon as the clip began to float online, it triggered many as people expressed their concerns for the elderly and rage against the woman.
