Sometimes, the best way to understand people other than yourself, is by ‘filling into their shoes’, and this Bengaluru techie, Namrata Singh, understood the phrase a bit too correctly. In a bid to experience the working conditions of the ‘less educated’, Singh turned into a delivery partner for the online food delivery app Swiggy. Yes, if ‘she took it seriously’ had a face, Singh’s brilliant attempt would surely be it. Sharing her experience over the same, she charted out a few points where she described in detail the perks and functions that an online delivery partner goes through.
Her post went viral and received a heap of praise as netizens were intrigued by her approach. In the end, she also expressed her gratitude toward such online delivery agents for their services.
The post was shared on LinkedIn, on Singh's handle, which read, “I tried my hand at being a delivery agent for Swiggy! I am a big fan of companies that generate employment for the less educated because these companies enable the lower class of the country to rise up to the middle class. These middle-class households then get empowered to create an even better future for their kids. Home-grown brands like Urban Company, Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit & Ola have created multiple jobs for the lesser educated segment in India and this is going a long way in improving the economy of our country.”

Clearly shows your concern for society, a strong desire to make a positive difference, and reinforces the critical role of startups in our ecosystem,” added a second person. “The best and real-time example of walking in somebody's shoes to understand their challenges,” said a third person.
“Good read, you made the reader feel, what a delivery provider goes through, and what else can be done to an end user application to serve both customer and business,” added another. “Wow, This is insightful!!. It’s really inspiring that you tried it before writing about it. Loved the usage of she. Eagerly waiting for your next post,” wrote a fifth person.
