Viral Video: Misuse of professional status and harassment of the poor, unfortunately go hands in hands, especially in India. Cases proving pretty much the same never leave the spotlight as the internet is full of such reports and incidents. Another such matter left the mass triggered, where this time, a lady police officer was seen harassing a poor auto-rickshaw driver by allegedly misusing her position. A video of the incident was shared online, which went viral. As per the clip, the lady officer began to demand for the poor man’s auto rickshaw papers as soon as he asked for the fare after the officer took a ride from him.

Outraged reactions took over the video as people criticised the woman and her behaviour with the driver. The date and location of the incident could not be confirmed.

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘virjust18’. The post was captioned, “As soon as the auto driver asked for the fare, the police officer started checking the papers. Who knows when action will be taken against such police officers.”

The video triggered many netizens, as they chastised the officer for misusing her uniform. Some people also pointed out that she had no right to do so, while others tagged authorities, demanding action against her and other such police officers. The post was shared two days ago and has been viewed 27K times by netizens.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Whom should the poor man contact in such cases, whom can he complain to?” asked a user. Their condition is the same everywhere, they harass the hard-working common people and salute the leaders,” added a second person. “All-over Bharat police taking money for writing FIR report @mygovindia have to Stop salary @rashtrapatibhvn please look into this matter and Stop Stop Stop salary of such corrupt officers urgently do needful save humanity,” wrote a third.

“She can't check his papers koi advocate hota to wahi hath judwa deta (If there was an advocate instead of the poor man, he would have pointed out the police officer's mistake right there),” commented a fourth user. “They don't break their bottoms just like that for a govt job....
