BTS Suga Receives Heartfelt Farewell: BTS Suga, also popular by his real name Min Yoongi, became the third member of his band to serve the country by joining the mandatory military service. The South Korean boy band’s rapper began his new journey today, September 22. Although the singer did not receive an official sendoff by BTS agency BigHit Music, the ARMY being the sweethearts they are, took care of the farewell by flooding the internet with emotional posts and reactions. Suga is the third member to serve his mandatory service after Jin and Jhope, while V aka Kim Taehyung, Jungkook, Jimin, and RM will also join soon. Recently, the band members also renewed their contract and are reportedly scheduled to group back in 2025. 

Unlike the other band members, who are scheduled to serve for 18 months, Suga will do social service for 21 months. This decision was taken because of the singer’s shoulder injury. Before his enlistment, the idol also penned a beautiful note for the fans on Weverse yesterday, September 21. 

Taking to the internet, people bid an emotional farewell to Suga. Many also shared hilarious memes and jokes about the singer’s service, while others expressed their excitement for 2025 when all the BTS idols will be back. Some people also wished the singer all the luck for military service.
