Cricketer Nitish Kumar Trends On Internet: Ever since June 04, the day the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 results were declared, the political leader who eventually ended up ruling trends, seemingly even more than Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar. For those unaware, with 12 seats under its name in the LS polls, Kumar’s JD(U) became a major alliance for the BJP-led NDA in the making of their Government at the Centre. The name was already ruling the internet, but amid all this, another man sharing the same name stole major headlines in the USA; cricketer Nitish Kumar.
The reason behind the other Nitish making waves on social media was his excellent performance at the USA vs Pakistan match at the T20 World Cup yesterday, June 06. The match was hosted in the US. Understandably, the cricketer immediately became the highlight of the match, especially for Desis. And what happened next, was something that Desis are best at; making memes.
Memes and jokes began to circulate on social media, where people began to compare the role of both the Nitishs in their respective fields and highlighted their ‘importance’. From calling the name a ‘viral’ one in itself to whatnot, memers grabbed all opportunities possible to get a laugh out of the unique situation.
