Chandrayaan 3 Moon landing: India broke into a massive celebration after ISRO successfully landed on the Moon on August 23. Social media was flooded with memes and congratulatory reactions as the people were overjoyed over the success of the much-anticipated Moon mission by India. Where some reactions were celebratory, others took a hilarious dig at the US space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and Pakistan. 

Taking to the internet, the netizens shared hilarious memes depicting funny reactions by the US space agency and India's neighbouring country.

“This product does not need any advertisement, it has so much power that it is trending all the time in this country after MODI,” wrote a user who shared a picture of a popular ointment Burnol that is used for healing burns, rashes, and more.

The country marked history after becoming the first and the only nation so far to reach the South Pole of the Moon. Chandrayaan 3’s Vikram Lander Module landed on the Moon at 6:04 PM. 

After the successful landing of the LM, the nation also remembered the failure of Chandrayaan 2. Chandrayaan 3 is the third Indian lunar exploration mission which took off on July 14. It was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Andhra Pradesh. After the US, Russia, and China, India has become the fourth nation to achieve a soft landing on the Moon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually attended the event. The prime minister is in South Africa to attend the 15th BRICS Summit.
