Viral Video: An elephant took off for an unexpected ‘city tour’ in US’ Montana after the gentle giant broke free from a circus that was about to host a show. The incident reportedly took place on April 16, whereas a video of the adorable giant, Viola, roaming around Montana was shared on social media, which went viral in no time. As per reports, Viola had a performance scheduled at the Jordan World Circus. The reason behind the escape, as per NBC Montana, was the sound of a vehicle, which startled the performer during its bath time.
Luckily, neither the elephant nor Montana citizens were harmed in the incident. Meanwhile, as per reports, the giant was captured by its handlers before the show started. As soon as the video began to circulate on the internet, most people were against the use of animals for circuses and demanded to let the elephant go.
The video was shared on social media platform YouTube, by the news handle ‘NBC News’. The post was captioned, “An elephant named Viola escaped from a traveling circus and took a walk through the streets of Butte, Montana before she was recaptured.”

The video went viral and left people reacting. Most people dubbed the incident a result of ‘animal cruelty’, while the rest demanded to let the poor giant go. Some also expressed their voice against circuses using animals for entertainment. The post was shared today and pulled views in thousands.
