Viral Video: Having a strong customer care team is one of the most vital requirements for any company, especially if the brand deals with daily services like online food delivery, online shopping and such. However, the popular online shopping app Flipkart, seemingly went overboard with its ‘care’ for its customers, as one of their Mumbai customers received an inquiry call after 6 years of placing an order. What was further intriguing was that the order was never delivered, and was ‘pending’ for the last 6 years. The customer shared a screenshot of the order on social media, which went viral.
The post was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘AHSANKHARBAI’. The post read, “After 6 yrs @Flipkart called me for this order. Asking me what issue I was facing.”

The post went viral and left people laughing. Most had hilarious jokes to add over the incident, while the rest recalled experiencing similar issues, where the app’s customer care later called them. The post was shared two days ago and pulled 199K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Maybe you opened 'Flipkart' from Internet Explorer,” a user said. “Good things take time,” joked a second person. “You’re not alone Bro. My order is pinned on top of my order list. They call regarding the issue once in a while,” wrote a third person.
“Chappal to sahi lag rahi h bhai lelo (The slippers look good, you should buy it),” added a fourth user. “Now they will give you left slippers free with the right one,” added a fifth user. “So you didn't think about cancelling that order?” asked another. “Wonder what made them suddenly remember this,” added another.
