Food is NOT just one of the vital means to stay alive, it’s also about taste, presentation, feel, and experience. Maybe that’s why from high-end restaurants to street vendors, cooks are often seen giving their all to the very plate that will be served to customers. The concept of ‘unique serving’ also somewhat came from the same ideology. And there are countless food joints with unforgettable serving styles, that can effortlessly prove the above said ‘correct’. Exemplifying the same yet again, a video from Maharaja of Gwalior’s Palace went viral, where the serving style left business tycoon Harsh Vardhan impressed.

Taking to his social media handle, the Mumbai-headquartered RPG Enterprises’ chairman, shared a video of food being served on a miniature train inside the said Palace. The video went viral in no time and gained all kinds of reactions and attention.

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘hvgoenka’. The post was captioned, “How food is served at Maharaja of Gwalior’s palace!”

Most called it a smart idea, while the rest pointed out the concept being borrowed from Japan and other Jaipur hotels where food is served in a similar manner. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 390K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, netizens shared their views. “Royalty at times can be loco!” a user said. “Even in Hyderabad, We have a train Restaurant,” commented a second person. “When Madhavrao Scindia was Railway Minister (1984-1989), this was widespread news that their Dining table had a Train to serve food. We remember It was told to us by our parents. Moreover, they gifted a Maruti 800 in some marriages to every guest. Royal n Rich People's,” added a third.

“The same way it is served in a very common restaurant of Jaipur- the vegiterranean Restaurant,” wrote a fourth person. “It's a Japanese concept called kaitenzushi. In Japan, there are restaurants (sushiro, genki sushi) where you order the food and it gets delivered on a miniature shinkansen,” joined another.
