Viral Video: If only there was some kind of law against trying food combinations that no one asked for and the kind that was never even needed in the first place, half the Indian food vendors and cooks would have been sitting in prisons. And no, this is not us accusing cooks of weird allegations but it's something that half the Indians wish for, the moment some bizarre food combination goes viral on social media- much like the one that recently made headlines- ‘Egg In Thums Up Hack’. Yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like.

A man came up with a new cake recipe, where he mixed eggs into the soft drink Thums Up, while baking a cake. However, the recipe instead left people requesting such ‘food scientists’ to stop their ‘experiments’. What further left people confused was the fact that the cook eventually poured the ‘weird mix’ into the blender, nullifying the need for the previous ‘mix’, in the first place.

A video of the same went viral on social media and left people reacting. The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘desimojito’.

The video is doing rounds on social media. Most found the recipe ‘unnecessary’ and agreed to stick to the original one. Some hated the idea and asked the man to not do such ‘experiments’. The video was shared yesterday and pulled a whopping 6.7M views from people.

Taking to the comment box, viewers shared their take. “Why not put the eggs strained into the blender though or there’s a special effect that first mixture and shaking would do? Just asking pls,” a user said. “My soul is in pain! Why didn’t you just put the egg in the batter and instead choose to do that with the soft drink?” asked another.

“How come such an idea crosses one’s mind? Like what in the world were they thinking when they came up with this recipe- how about I mix eff in this up and see what happens- like what?” said a third person. “Scared. Be very scared of such cooks,” added a fourth user. “Why he had to shake the egg and the coke even when it's going into the blender is what I don't understand,” commented a fifth.

“I don’t get it, why not put the eggs straight in the blender? Before you answer, I do get it. It gets us all to watch with a slightly frowning face and an open mouth,” added another.
