Without a doubt, Indian food with all its endless variety and spices, is one of the most loved and preferred cuisines. However, when it comes to countries with cuisine with rather fewer spices, the preference for Indian food is understandably low. Keeping that in mind, a major debate ended up getting triggered after some people, especially from outside the country, were ‘seemingly’ offended after a foreign man called Indian food the ‘best on earth’. For obvious reasons, desis and a few other foreigners agreed with the man and even listed down their own favourite dishes, but there was also a section on the comment box that only degraded the Indian cuisine.

The offence reached the level where the internet user who shared the post, had to ‘block’ many for their questionable behaviour and trolling.

The X post was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘FlipMan’. The post was captioned, “Indian food is the best on earth. Fight me.”

“I’m blocking trolls right and left. Their accounts and posts are so similar that I’m convinced there’s some kind of political propaganda farm responsible for them.. and there’s a ton of them,” the man later added.

The X post, after being shared, went viral and pulled all kinds of comments. Many agreed with the man and even shared a list of their own where Indian cuisine was either on top or was among the top five, while a few degraded the food and pulled abusive comments on the same.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Here is my list:1) Indian 2) Mexican3) Italian 4) Mediterranean 5) American,” a user said. “The thing about Indian food is that it´s even better in India,” added a second person. “That butter chicken ugh @stripes1129 and some naan and don’t get me STARTED with all desserts,” added another. “No fight. Agree. Most people cannot comprehend the vast variety of tastes and choices,” added another.

“It’s clearly Italian food by an incalculable amount of miles,” added another. “All this food would give me explosive diarrhoea. No thanks,” added another. “Italian and French. Indian isn’t even in the top 20,” wrote a sixth person. “I scratched that picture and it smelled like feet,” added another. “It’s already in pre-diarrhea form. Can’t beat it,” added another.
