Viral Video: India, for obvious reasons, is furious with the threat against women's safety and security that is only increasing with time. With tens and hundreds of rape and eve-teasing cases coming forward, it makes sense that many are resorting to ‘instant justice’ against harassers that are being caught in public. Exemplifying something similar, another incident came forward, where an alleged harasser was punished in public. A video of a woman beating up the accused with a shoe amid the public was shared online, which went viral almost immediately. As per the post, the man was accused of harassing the girl by calling her names.

Apart from the woman, what grabbed people’s attention was another man who was seemingly furious at the accused to the level that he also looked eager to hit the man. The exact date and location of the matter could not be confirmed.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “The girl beat up the Man with her shoes on the road, The mischievous guy used to harass the girl by calling her!” The video was shared two days ago and pulled 134K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “That half-pant guy is more frustrated than a girl,” a user said. “The girl beat up the flirtatious boy with her shoes on the road! The mischievous young man used to harass the girl by calling her! The viral video is said to be from Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh,” pointed out a second person.

“This is true justice, they will die of shame,” added a third person. “Sister, go for it quickly and decisively. Next time, make sure he stays 10 feet away, whether he's with guys or girls,” added another. “Looks like the man has harassed that boy also,” joined the fifth user. “The guy behind her, is that guy her husband, brother or any relative??” asked another.
