‘Think out of the box’ is one of the most popular phrases every professional must’ve heard in their workspaces. But, humans are not the only ones to ‘think out of the box’ and solve their problems. A guinea pig’s out-of-the-box strategy to cross a maze is going viral on the internet. Leaving the netizens impressed, the furry animal crossed a cardboard maze like a boss.
The post was shared on the microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), by the handle 'Buitengebieden'. The video was captioned, “Thinking outside the box.”

The video began with a guinea pig being kept at the starting point of a maze. The maze was made out of cardboard cutouts with an entry and an exit point. The tiny one started normally as it began to find the correct path, but soon created a new one. Going literally out of the box, the guinea pig started moving above the cardboard walls and eventually reached the exit point.
The video is going viral as netizens were left laughing over the furry one's 'out-of-the-box' thinking. The post has pulled a whopping 5M views so far. Taking to the comment section, the people lauded the pet's strategy.

"Looks like the outer walls of the box are higher than the maze walls...so still inside the box, but thinking in three dimensions," a user said. "They forgot to put the plexiglass on top of the maze," a second person wrote. "lil guy broke through the 4th wall," added a third viewer. "Thinking outside of the maze," said a fourth. "Lol it's against the rules of the game already," joined a fifth user. "Unfortunately not many people thinking like this," wrote a sixth. "In fact, this is also a way to tell us that sometimes changing our minds is also a way to solve problems," added a seventh.
