Happy Diwali 2024: Despite it being dangerous, something that has turned into somewhat of a Diwali ritual for people- especially kids- is bursting firecrackers in hand. Every colony or family will have that one person who will be lighting up a firecracker in their hands and will wait to throw it away only at the last moment. However, people hardly ever see an elderly person doing the same. With that in mind, one can imagine the shock and amusement that social media felt after a video showing the same was shared online. The said video showed an elderly grandma sitting on a wall, and lighting up firecrackers in her hands. The woman was only throwing the crackers away when they were about to burst.

The clip was quick to intrigue people. The exact date and location of the video could not be confirmed. The Diwali video went viral and pulled many reactions after getting shared. Most people found the clip hilarious and called the elderly woman a ‘pro’, while the rest couldn't stop joking about the same. Many also called the woman’s enjoyment relatable.

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘GaurangBhardwa1’. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 258K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Wishing you a very Happy Diwali, may the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi always remain on you all,” a user said. “Man, this is too funny. And the fact that the granny is doing it so smoothly tells that she has been doing the same for a long time,” added a second person.

“Even I am scared of such status because you never know what can go wrong, so why even take risks? Plus, I was never a Crackers fan. But then it's this grandma, just wow- full of life. I'm in my mid-30s by the way, a male- her adrenaline is sure more than me. This is just too sweet,” added another.
