Viral Video: There is a solid reason why experienced people often never take gym exercises lightly, especially when it comes to safety hazards. Gym accidents are one of the most life-threatening accidents that people may experience, and the internet is full of content related to the same. Adding one more instance to the list, a video of a man's ‘close escape’ from a life-threatening accident at the gym surfaced online. The said video instantly went viral and left people reacting in all kinds of ways.
In the video, the said man was seen lifting weights without a ‘spotter’. For those unaware, ‘spotter’ is basically a ‘supporter’ who assists when needed during lifting heavy weights. However, the entire thing went southways real quick, after the bar, along with the weights, fell on the man’s neck. Struggling to breathe, the man somehow freed himself. The clip, soon after getting viral, left people with multiple lessons and a ‘traumatic’ video to watch.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘CCTV IDIOTS’. The post was captioned, “This is why you should always have a spotter.”
