In the past few days, the internet has become all about the Le Monde colour trend, which is based on the popular song ‘Le Monde’. Appreciating the beauty of Indian cities, a digital creator, Rishi Thakur, shared a video on the trend. The video showed different Indian cities with their dominant colours. But as soon as the post was shared, netizens turned the trend into a meme and flooded it with hilarious comments. From connecting Bangalore with traffic to connecting Delhi with pollution, people took a dig at several cities and their struggles. People also connected Hyderabad with its popular 'Biryani'. The video was shared by Instagram user ‘rishi thakur’. The post was captioned, “Which colour will you choose?”

The video was a compilation of short clips of some of the most popular cities in the country. The post dubbed Mumbai as grey while it called Jaipur as pink. Goa was named yellow, and Delhi became brown. The clip showed Jodhpur as blue.

The video went viral as the netizens loved it. Most people loved the colour schemes and the editing, while others filled the post’s comment box with jokes on the trend and the cities. The video was shared a day back and pulled 252K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take and their jokes. “Jodhpur is blue: proceeds to show the only non-blue parts,” a user said. “Delhi is Dhundala,” said a second person. “Bengaluru is traffic,” added a third person. “Dholakpur is Bheem,” joined a fourth netizen. “Delhi is polluted,” said a fifth. “Gorakhpur is saffron,” said a sixth user. “Hyderabad is Biryani,” added a seventh. “Udaipur is white.....you must visit”, said another. “Great concept; Kerala is green,” said a ninth person. “What an idea man’s a creator fr,” lauded a tenth.

Richard Carter’s hit song ‘Le Monde’ is trending on social media as netizens are flooding it with the Le Monde colour trend. The song was released this year and the track is from the film ‘Talk to Me’.
