Perhaps that’s why not everything can go according to you and maybe that is exactly what happened with foodie, when another ‘disaster’ of a food combination dropped on the internet like a bomb that no one wanted. After all, ‘why should foodies have all the fun?’ That is not a question that we posed, but it instead was something that maybe this food vendor wondered when he came up with Ice Cream Dabeli. Yes, the new combination, Ice Cream Dabeli, is exactly how it sounds and people are surely NOT happy. A video of two food bloggeres trying the dish was shared online, which went viral in no time. 

The video was shared on social media platform Instagram, by the user ‘Surti Mayurkumar Vasantlal’. The post was captioned, “Bhuj ki Famous Icecream Dabeli. A world-famous place for Dabeli called Kutch-Bhuj specially introduced Icecream Dabeli by @kutchi.bites for all Dabeli lovers.”

The video was shared on social media and went viral in no time. Most people called it a ‘disaster’, while the rest were simply offended by the combination. Many also asked food bloggers not to support such combinations. The post was shared a while back and pulled thousands of views.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Gujrati food used to be delicious, but now it's notorious. I always feel embarrassed whenever I talk about our Gujarati food. Who can share any kachra in the name of food, and when it goes viral, people usually think that these types of street food people eat in Gujarat,” a user said. “Put some Harpic too... They are eating so much garbage to clean it, it will be useful,” said a second person. 

“Cheese, mayo, Schezwan, basically, just put anything that you want. What even is this and why was this needed,” said another. “Bhuj famous ko bhuj mein hi rehna do sir (let Bhuj stay famous in Bhuj only),” added another. “Maut aa jaye par ye kachra kabhi nahi khaunga (I will die but will never eat such garbage),” added another. “This is NOT a dabeli. Just a fried pav with ice cream inside. Dabeli ka naam kharab mt kro! (Don’t spoil Dabeli’s name),” said another.
