Viral Reddit Post: Just hours before a shocking car explosion rocked the area near Delhi’s historic Red Fort on Monday evening, a curious post appeared on Reddit that’s now grabbing everyone’s attention. A user had shared that they noticed an unusual number of police and army personnel around Old Delhi, the same area where the blast later took place.

The Reddit post, titled “Is something going on in Delhi?”, was shared around 4 pm. The explosion, which involved a Hyundai i20, happened close to 7 pm, killing at least eight people and injuring 20 others. The user, who claimed to be a Class 12 student, wrote, “I just came back from my school (12 student) and not lying everywhere, there was just police and army and media like on the Red Fort on the metro everywhere. Not even kidding, when I was traveling on the metro, I saw more army than ever. Is something going on, like what's up today?”

After the tragic incident, the post went viral, getting 2K upvotes and spreading quickly to X (formerly Twitter), where many were stunned by the timing. Netizens couldn’t believe that just a few hours before the explosion, someone had noticed something strange and even posted about it.

"Bro just predicted the history of one of the most heinous bomb blasts this decade in this country," a user wrote. "Well, there were a lot of signs of a terror attack planning, no? Many people arrested, bomb materials seized. So maybe a lot more might happen," a second user wrote. "It means we had the intel, but unfortunately, it happened. Security agencies may succeed 99 times but terrorists have to succeed just once," wrote a third user.
