Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Wedding Invite: Social media has found its newest target: the wedding invitation of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez. As the couple’s lavish wedding celebrations kick off in the romantic city of Venice, what should have been a dreamy moment is now facing unexpected online heat. People on the internet are roasting the design of their wedding invitation, and they aren’t holding back. The invite, shared by ABC News, shows butterflies, feathers, birds, and shooting stars in pink and blue on a plain white background. But instead of love, it got laughs.
The couple, who’ve been together for six years, will say their vows on Friday, June 27, during a multi-day event. While the look of the invite raised eyebrows, one part did earn some praise: their charitable gesture.
Instead of asking for gifts, the invitation reads: “We are excited for you to join us! We have one early request: please, no gifts.” It goes on to say: “Donations on your behalf are being made to the UNESCO Venice Office to safeguard this city's irreplaceable cultural heritage, to CORILA to restore the vital lagoon habitats that protect Venice's future, and to Venice.”
The couple also shared a heartfelt message with their guests: “This magical place has gifted us unforgettable memories. Our hope is that through these efforts and by you joining us, Venice will continue to inspire wonder for generations to come.” While the cause is thoughtful and well-received, the design of the invite is what has taken center stage online, for all the wrong reasons.

The now-viral post was shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by the handle '@PopCrave'. The post shared two days ago received millions of views and comments from social media users. One user wrote, "Was the invitation made in Microsoft Paint?" "Imagine being so rich your invite just says please, no gifts because what could you possibly need ? " a second user added. "I think you’re reading too much into it, and the big part that no one is talking about is the fact that she looks like a man. Is she transgender because a lot of the elite billionaires are married to men?" a third user wrote.
"Wow, what an ugly announcer/invitation. With all the money he has, they could have at least done something pretty and classy. But I guess taking into consideration what she has done to herself with all the plastic surgery, botox, fillers, etc.... I'm guessing that just isn't possible," a fourth user wrote. "That invite is atrocious. Obviously, money can’t buy taste or class," added a fifth user.
