Breaking the world record in an unusual category, a woman in the US made the world record for the loudest burp ever recorded. Kimberly “Kimycola” Winter, the record holder, set the new bar by hitting 107.3 dB through her burp. Her burp was recorded in a recording studio to eliminate recording any reflected sound. She recorded the burp on a radio talk show ‘Elliot in the Morning’, hosted by DJ Elliot Segal. Now, the video of her burping is going viral on social media.
The video was shared on the official Instagram handle of the Guinness World Records. The post read, “Loudest burp (female) 107.3 db (C-weighted) by Kimberly Winter @kimycola.”

The post was a compilation of several clips of Winter burping at multiple locations. The video also included a clip of the time when she burped in the recording studio.
The unusual record got all kinds of reactions from the netizens who took to the comment section to share their views on the new record holder. Some people congratulated her, while some netizens were confused about the fact that such a record even existed.
“Giving records for no reason,” a user said. “Kimberly’s record-breaking burp is louder than a blender (70-80 dB), an electric handheld drill (90-95 dB), and even some motorcycles at full throttle (100-110 dB),” a second netizen pointed out. “Which kind record this girl go break like this,” a third said. “She drank lots of fizzy drinks to do this, not the best record,” added a fourth viewer. “Ngl they be giving records to everyone at this point,” commented a fifth. “She's like: Hello I'm Optimus Prime,” said a sixth. “Guiness award for this purpose,” wrote a seventh.
