Flipkart Scam Viral Video: A video is going viral, and it's raising serious concerns about online shopping. Tech YouTuber Devanshu Dhandhal ordered a MacBook Pro worth Rs 2.6 lakh from Flipkart, but what he got in return shocked him, twice. Devanshu said that the first laptop he received looked used, with clear marks and smudges, even though it came in a sealed Apple box. After he reported the issue, Flipkart sent him a replacement. But to avoid any confusion, he decided to open the new box under CCTV surveillance at an Ekart office, and surprisingly, the second laptop also appeared used. "2 times. 2 wrong deliveries," he wrote in a now-viral post on X, sharing both unboxing videos as proof.

Despite reaching out to Flipkart’s customer care, Devanshu said nothing worked. He claimed they offered him different compensation amounts, Rs 13,000, then Rs 18,000, and finally a 10% refund, all of which he initially refused. Calling the situation extremely frustrating, he eventually accepted the 10% compensation. But he made it clear: “This isn’t a mistake, it’s negligence.”

In his post, Devanshu raised deeper concerns. He alleged that the seller, Treasure Haul Online, has been fooling buyers since 2023, and he’s not the only one; others on LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, and X have shared similar stories. He raised three sharp questions:

1. How are fake products getting packed in sealed Apple boxes?

2. Why is the seller still active despite so many complaints?

3. What does “Assured” even mean if Flipkart can’t check what’s inside?

He ended his post urging Flipkart to take strict action, both against the seller and the system that allowed this to happen. Flipkart later responded publicly, saying: “We’d never want you to get anything but what you ordered and are extremely sorry about this instance.”

Taking to the comment section, one user wrote, "Once I bought a Poco F4 from Flipkart. The device was defective, and they didn't care or take any action on it. Three days later, I sold it on OLX at a loss of 7k. That's how pathetic Flipkart is." "Flipkart has lost its reputation, been years since I've ordered anything from them. Yes, I'm ready to pay more on Amazon, but at least I don't get scammed,' a second user added.

"Common sense demands that buying something like a high-end Apple laptop happens in the Apple Store. The only reason anyone goes to Flipkart is for some monetary benefit," a third user added. "Why would anyone buy a 2.6 L worth product that too online and THAT TOO FROM FLIPKART. High-value products (especially electronics) should always be purchased from a store," added a fourth user.
