It's pretty normal for people to reorder a certain item after it cancels on its own while online shopping. The practice is more common when it comes to ordering food from food delivery apps. Facing something similar, a man ordered a few ingredients quite a few times after he repeatedly faced ‘cancellation’ on Swiggy. However, the story took a hilarious turn when his phone began to notify on repeat, much like a snoozed alarm, and his front door was lined up by multiple deliveries. Basically, the man ended up receiving his order 6 times in total. The incident soon went viral after he shared the entire matter with the internet community. 

Later describing the incident in the comments, the man revealed that he was receiving a ‘cancellation’ due to a glitch, leading him to order the items 6 times. 

The post was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘pranayloya’. The post was captioned, “I unintentionally broke down Swiggy’s app. 6 delivery executives brought the same order! Here is what happened.”

Taking notice of the matter, Swiggy also responded to the incident and offered to help. “@pranayloya Hello Praanay, we get your disappointment. We're here to help you, please share your order ID so that we can look into it right away. ^Viplav,” read Swiggy’s reply. 

The post went viral and received all kinds of reactions. Most people found it funny and wanted to know what he was making, while others recalled their own similar experiences. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 179K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Bro just make all that food and feed homeless people, win-win,” a user said. “Swiggy is messed up. I have switched to Zomato/Blinkit,” added a second person. “All for the drivers, tip them 2x of what you spent,” said a third user. “*The order fails 5 times* This guy: I swear it'll work this time,” joined a fourth user. Okay, the same thing happened with me. Now I have 6 kgs aloo and 1 kg chicken,” commented another. 

“Happened 2 days back. Was hungry at 1 am. Ordered food from Swiggy. It took 54 min to reach me near by me and then the delivery boi switched off. I kept trying and waiting for my delivery till 2:30 am and then they canceled my order by saying sorry,” recalled the next.
